ADVANCED SPEED-SKETCHING
Release your inner creative on our Advanced Speed-Sketching workshop, run by Edinburgh artist Mark Kirkham, aka 'The Edinburgh Sketcher'.
This experience is for people who have attended our Introduction to Speed-Sketching workshop and wish to develop their skills.
You will create your own framed montage of sketches. You will begin by creating a number of sketches on location with pen and ink before combining them in a frame to make a bespoke image of your visit.
Our artists will support you throughout the workshop offering one-to-one guidance and tips on design, as well as encouraging collaboration through sharing of ideas within the group. They will do their best to answer any questions you may have.
The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town. Spaces are limited so our artists can offer hands-on help and support. All equipment is provided, as are all the materials you will need. Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.
The price for the workshop includes all materials and refreshments, and of course you will take home a framed copy of your sketch montage, as well as the all other documentation you produced, to enjoy and inspire you.
Please note: The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a first-floor open plan reception room and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Please let us know of any skin or food allergies when booking.
