Our Art & Wine Evenings offer a fun, relaxed, creative night out in Edinburgh's fabulous city centre Georgian New Town.
With hands-on help from local artist Suzanne Kemplay, you will learn how to create your very own still life or landscape painting using acrylic paints, while enjoying a glass of wine and nibbles.
You don't have to be able to draw, so it's perfect for beginners, as well as those who are new to using acrylic paints. We think you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in one evening!
Our Art & Wine Evenings offer a range of artists and themes to choose from, including to paint in the style of the Scottish Colourists, Impressionists, or Georgia O'Keeffe; and to opt for a landscape or still life. Suzanne will provide a background to the artist's work, and hands-on help throughout the evening to help you make the most of your time.
No previous experience is needed. Images will already have been drawn out beforehand so you can get straight to work, and have fun playing with paint. Suzanne will talk you through the process, showing you how to mix colours and apply acrylic paint.
The price includes access to all the equipment you will need, all materials plus complimentary wine and nibbles. And of course you'll take home your finished painting to inspire you to continue painting at home!
We think these socially-minded evenings make a great alternative night out, so we offer a 20% discount if you book an additional space. This means you can bring along a friend or colleague for just £36. Just give us their name when booking, and we'll email you a discount voucher code.
Please note that The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a first-floor space and unfortunately we do not have lift access.
Art + Wine Evening: 27 March 2020 6pm-9pm
The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town. Spaces are limited to allow our artists and designer-makers to offer hands-on help and support. All equipment is provided and all the materials you will need (unless stated otherwise). Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.
Refreshment breaks are an important part of The Arienas Collective experiences. They are a time to socialise, make new friends and chat to the artists and designer-makers. We are fortunate to have a fantastic range of independent shops and producers nearby and are proud to feature locally sourced food and drinks.
The price includes welcome refreshments, and on our full day workshops we include a buffet style lunch. And of course you take home all the unique products you create.
All our experiences are also available to book as a private group, and most can be brought to you too. Please email us for more information.
