During this workshop, local lingerie designer Hazel Lethaby of Mischke Lingerie will introduce you to working with stretch material by sewing a pair of knickers that will fit and flatter your curves.
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with previous sewing experience who would like to learn how to work with stretch fabric, and is a great introduction to the world of making your own lingerie.
The length of time it takes to make your knickers will vary according to your level of experience, and whether you are using your own sewing machine or not, so we allow up to 3 hours.
Access to a sewing machine is provided, but if you have your own machine we encourage you to bring this with you since it's good to practice on the machine you will be using at home.
Spaces are limited so that Hazel can give you the hands-on help and support you need to get the most from the workshop.
The price includes all materials and refreshments, and of course you get to take the beautiful knickers you have created home to enjoy and inspire you along with a paper pattern so you can continue making more knickers at home!
Please let us know if you will be bringing your own machine so we can make sure there are sufficient extension cables.
Please note: The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a first-floor open plan reception room and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Please let us know of any skin or food allergies when booking.
