A friend or acquaintance has admired your work and asked if they can buy one from you. Now what?
This workshop, led by artist and creative business mentor Julie Galante, is designed for artists and makers who want to take the leap into selling their creations.
We’ll cover the basic things you need to think through to get off to a strong start:
- How much should you charge?
- Where should you sell?
- What should you sell?
- How should you promote your work?
- What types of records do you need to keep?
- What kind of internet presence do you need?
You’ll leave with a plan of action and the confidence to move forward with this exciting new chapter of your career.
This full-day workshop includes materials, refreshments, and a light lunch.
Please note that The Arienas Collective workshop space is based on the first floor of a Georgian mews home and unfortunately there is no lift access.
Sell your work: 24 January 2021 10am-5pm
The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town. Spaces are limited to allow our artists and designer-makers to offer hands-on help and support.
All equipment is provided and all the materials you will need (unless stated otherwise). Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.
Refreshment breaks are an important part of The Arienas Collective experiences. They are a time to socialise, make new friends and chat to the artists and designer-makers. We are fortunate to have a fantastic range of independent shops and producers nearby and are proud to feature locally sourced food and drinks. The price includes all materials unless stated otherwise, refreshments, and of course you take home all the unique products you have created.
All our experiences are also available to book as a private group email us for more information.
